Leap Year

I don't really know a lot about Leap Year, but I read about it online and it stated that every 4 years an extra day is added on to February. So here is a a little bit about Leap Year online. According to telegraph.co.uk, "leap year, where an extra day is added to the end of February every four years, is down to the Gregorian calendar's disparity with the solar system. A complete orbit of the earth around the sun takes exactly 365.2422 days to complete, but the Gregorian calendar uses 365 days. So leap seconds - and leap years - are added as means of keeping our clocks (and calendars) in sync with the Earth and its seasons." I think that it is really cool that an extra day is added onto February every four years, and that it comes down to a calendar and its disparity with the solar system.
